Given Burbank’s status as the “Media Capital of the World,” and its proximity to Hollywood, the Car Classic welcomes vehicles that have appeared in films or TV, or were owned by celebrities. Top cars will be featured on the Red Carpet Expo. Cars from the Petersen Automotive Museum, the Television Motion Picture Car Club, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, Universal Studios Hollywood, and private owners will be showcased.
What to expect at the Burbank Car Classic
The event takes place on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 3:00pm to 9:00pm. It runs along San Fernando Boulevard and adjacent streets from the Burbank Towne Center to the Holiday Inn in the shopping and dining district.
The event is free—no tickets are required and you only need to register to if you plan to show a car. There will be family entertainment, booths, vendors, prizes, and music from local DJs. Stay for the awards ceremony that honors cars with Best in Show, the Jay Leno Award, and the Classic Award. Take time to shop around at the 400+ stores in the area as well.
